5 Days Nairobi National Park, Tsavo West and Ngulia Safari Tour

Nairobi National Park is a unique wildlife reserve situated just a few km away from the bustling Nairobi city. Our safari Landcruiser arrive at the airport at exactly 0800 hrs. You will take a few minutes familiarizing with the driver before departing to Nairobi National Park. You will check in at the park East gate at approximately 0900 hrs. Here you will have an opportunity to sight all the big five except elephants.

At 1300 hrs you take lunch at Rangers restaurant one of the safari style restaurants in the park. Afternoon game drives continue to 1600 hrs when you transfer to a hotel where you spend the night.

 Day 2: Nairobi- Tsavo west

You depart from your hotel at 0600 hrs heading to Tsavo. You will check in at Tsavo river gate at 1100hrs. Thereafter you will have a short game drive within Tsavo west as you head to Ngulia lodge where you check in and take lunch. You spend the afternoon at Ngulia rhino sanctuary which is one of Africa most successful black rhino conservation initiatives.

Day 3: Game drives, Mzima springs and Shetani Lava flow

At 0700 hrs you will depart for a short morning game drives with picnic lunch. The morning drives are the best as most of the animals are actively looking for the day meal. At 1000 hrs you will visit the mzima springs where there are fascinating underground water reservoirs, beautiful green flora and alluring bird scenes. You will also visit the Shetani basaltic lava flow.

Picnic lunch will be served at a site near Mzima springs. In the afternoon you will proceed with the normal game drives.

Day 4: Game drives and Ngulia rhino sanctuary

This day is reserved for game watching. Tsavo west is a stronghold for the characteristic red-painted Elephant, zebras, giraffes and wildebeest. Our driver will be kin to take you through various wildlife hotspot in the park for optimal bush experience.  Tsavo west also features a more fascinating vegetation and a host of migratory and local birds. At 1300 hrs you will return to the lodge for lunch.

The afternoon is spent on game drives and rhino tracking in Ngulia rhino sanctuary.

Day 5: Tsavo- Nairobi

After breakfast you checkout from your lodge. You will have a short game drive as you exit via Tsavo river gate. You will be dropped off at the airport/ hotel later in the afternoon.
